Sirane will exhibit at Bread & Jam Fest 2019 in London

SIRANE is exhibiting at the Bread & Jam Fest next week – a ‘2-day boot camp’ show for smaller & emerging food and drink companies looking to grow their business.

We’ll focus on sustainable packaging solutions from our range of bags and pouches, including our environmentally friendly award-winning plastic-free Earthpouch.

We’ll also be showing products including our re-usable thermally-insulated bags – a recyclable solution great for anyone looking at ways to get their brand out there.

Mark Lingard, Marketing Manager, said: “For start-up companies, and food manufacturers still in fairly early days, packaging can be a real issue. Getting the right advice and finding a packaging supplier where the minimum orders are not too high, and who can work with you as you grow, can be a bit of a minefield, but Sirane can really help.

“We can offer digital printing for shorter runs, for example, which also avoids plate charges - which is ideal for start-ups who are not looking to invest thousands of pounds.

“Whatever your priorities, whether it’s environmentally-friendly plastic-free packaging or making it resealable, making it stand-up on the shelf, or just keeping costs down, we can help. We can also advise on the best packaging for the product you’re selling.

“Sourcing the right packaging can de daunting for some companies in the early days, but Sirane will help you through that process and help you source exactly what you need.”

Sirane is an innovative packaging design, development, manufacture and solutions company which specialises in areas including absorbency and ovenable/microwaveable products, compostable packaging, films, boards, absorbent pads, and much more.

Earthpouch is an award-winning plastic-free stand-up pouch suitable for dry and moist foods, which comes with a range of different barrier options. It is also available as Earthfilm, a flow-wrap film. Both are perfect for people looking for alternatives to plastic.

But we also offer a huge range of products that won’t be featured on the stand – and staff at the show will be happy to talk people through the varied product range on offer.

Mark Lingard added: “Sirane offers a wide range of food packaging solutions, including ovenable and microwavable cooking bags, ovenable dividers and more. Sirane may well be a company that visitors to this show would benefit from knowing more about.

“There’s lots of food packaging products that start-ups may need and not know where to source: absorbent pads, ovenable packaging, shelf-life extension…. Sirane has it all.

“If you’re looking for sustainable solutions, look no further. As well as plastic-free pouches and flow-wrap films, we have breathable films for fresh produce, compostable absorbent pads and much more. And if you’re not sure what you need…. we’ll help.”

Bread & Jam takes place at the Grade 1-listed Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London, from October 3-4, 2019. There’s also a series of lectures and talks, including Ape founder Mark Shayler, Monika Linton, founder of Brindisa, and Clipper Teas founder Michael Brehme.

Bread & Jam describes itself as an annual 2-day conference and bootcamp for emerging and scaling food and drink brands, bringing together food and drink founders and innovators, investors, media and industry leaders – visit www.breadandjamfest.com

Other features of the show include the ‘Pitching Room’ – where new brands can get a 10-minute pitch to Selfridges, Holland & Barrett, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s – ‘Growth Labs’ focused on scaling-up business, and the popular ‘Start-Up Studios’.
