BarrierScreens

PHYSICAL barriers/partitions in the workplace are part of a draft government plan to ease anti-coronavirus restrictions according to reports on the BBC today, along with urging employers to stagger shift times and maximise home working.

The draft strategy reported by the BBC says additional hygiene procedures, physical screens and the use of protective equipment should be considered where maintaining distancing of 2m (6ft) between workers is otherwise impossible.

Sirane is offering a range of products designed to help keep workers safe during the global pandemic crisis – including much-needed facial visors/shields, as well as free-standing partition/barrier screens and barriers designed to fit around desks.

For any companies out there looking to protect their staff while continue to manufacture, however big or small – or trying to work out how to re-open safely and how to protect staff when they do – they could exactly what they need.

Simon added: “Around the nation, there will be companies thinking how do we get back up and running safely? What extra measures do we need to put into place? These products will help maintain ‘social distancing’ whilst in the workplace.

“Whether it’s a global giant or a High Street hairdressers everyone will be facing the same problem… and sometimes it is just knowing where to source the products.

“We can supply standard barrier/partition screens or even screens designed to cut around benches or desks, to help people get back to work… we can also supply visors, counter-top screens, solutions to get you back up and running.

“The products are made using water-resistant board, which means they can be wiped clean/disinfected. Speak to us today if you want more information.”

Our face visors/face shields are constructed from water-resistant board, with a clear PP window, and can be supplied with an absorbent strip for added comfort.

They are adjustable – and were designed with the input of working clinicians.

As well as the visors, we can also offer a range of products designed at keeping staff safe in manufacturing/retail environments. These include retail counter ‘cough screens’ – with a clear PP window and a cut-out base to allow transactions.

These counter screens can be supplied plain or custom printed to suit.

Simon Balderson said: “Shops looking to re-open, or thinking what measures you may need to put in place when you are allowed to, this is for you. A simple counter-top solution that provides a transparent barrier between you and the customer.”
